Taken the rear seat out and pulled the carpet up and bought a wet and dry hoover to dry out the rear passenger foot well. I had the sunroof drain checked by the garage and was rodded with welding wire I was told. Few months ago it was wet the same place but was due to in the garages opinion the sunroof was fully closed. Was advised how to get it closed by tapping the button to engage flat the roof. It seemed to work then had my car valeted and I think it's filled the rear floor somehow.

Is it best to tip water on the sunroof and see if it fills once dry again or same try from the rear light cluster? Any more help much appreciated thanks
Hi Chris.
The tourer rear lights do not let water into the boot area, the sunroof drains can, of even the side vents, and the chrome fittings / painted on the ZTT

You could run water with an hose over the sunroof slowly and see if its letting water in through the drains, but if you have carried out the drain mod for the sunroof drains front and rear it should be ok.

Hi Steve. I have poured water on the trim piece on the drivers side rear panel near to the petrol flap and water is coming into the boot side. Where the sat navigation is I can see it trickling in. Could this cause the rear footwell to fill with water? I.e when washing aswell as heavy rain. I have poured water on all other areas and seems dry. Not filling up. Any advice on what to do with the trim to stop water ingress? Cheers again

Chris the trim can be removed from the inside, once the boot sides have been removed as in the photos of the link, and then silicone added to the clips and around the hols before re-fitting, some have removed them by sliding the trim off from the outside but this nearly always breaks some of the fixing which can be hard to get.

Some have also just added the silicone from the inside without removing the trim clips.

I doubt the water getting in there would add water behind the seats in the rear footwell, it is most likely coming in from the front as per talked about and flowing into the rear, which is cause by the floor pan pattern.
