Any half-decent aftermarket speakers will be a big improvement over the original factory units. You don't have to spend a fortune.

I found changing the head unit made a big difference (went to a Alpine).
I’ve some extra stock tweeters to fit for the rears as I’ve read that helps also.
However, down the line a speaker swap out maybe on the cards too.

I have considered this but I want to keep the stock look. Was thinking maybe some vibe or pioneer speakers for the fronts

I fitted Focal speakers a couple of years ago and if you use MDF backings for the fronts it makes a big difference the base response.

Trikey fitted the HK speakers over the standard speakers and with a decent head unit and an underseat sub i now have a very satisfying system in the car.

This is the sub i used. It's mounted under the front passenger seat and you wouldn't know it was there but it gives some nice warmth to the low end which tends to be lacking in door speakers.

Originally it was but I now have an Android unit.

I was not convinced the MDF mountungs would make much difference but I fitted the new speakers and then fitted them with the MDF while the trim was off. You can have maximum base with no rattling of the door.
