I would agree. Lovely paint finish on top and well protected underneath. My son and his wife bought a Rio and a Focus at the same time, doing similar jobs and mileages. The Rio is still going strong with father in law but the Ford was traded due to corrosion underneath and lots of "niggles" under warranty.

Must admit 4 months into ownership I'm enjoying my Kia Venga and have no regrets with my purchase.

We have a tennis match of letters, claims and counter claims going on at present. I'll keep all informed. Too complicated to detail all the stuff but basically they say that I should have got them to do it under "warranty"! Yeah, right. They buy cars at auction, spend nothing on them and expect the customer to pay for any repairs needed! From me .....Sale of goods act - unfit for purpose etc! etc! Laters!

You bought it after having concerns about the clutch on the road test? Unless it was well below market value why buy it to then replace the clutch other than to prove a point?

Take a look back at your post 13 and Dave's 14 where they say parts are coved if that's the case why not just stump up the money for the cost of the parts you have had fitted it matters not who fitted them? Unless as you suspect as i do they would have hit you with high labour bill to cover their cost of the parts as well, some of these sellers think they can see you coming, but not all of us

Money refunded today thanks to small claims court. I wouldn't have bothered but reviews of the dealers showed that the owner had verbally abused an autistic man after he had a similar purchase, plus several other reviews of unfulfilled promises by the owner. Did I have a point to prove? Yes! I have nothing else to do with my time so it was time well spent and I have a new clutch! Loving the Sportage by the way!
