Yes, it's quite possible that the bags inside the wings were deleted towards the end of production, my early facelift Tourer still had them but they could easily have been dropped during the last year or so.
As our cars get older, the bags often split or get torn during repairs, allowing rain water to soak into the sponge. I removed mine as I really couldn't see any noticeable benefit to them being fitted, and didn't fancy having a damp sponge bag trapped between the wing & A-pillar.

Doesn't matter.--Forget the screw driver. --The grips will quite happily turn the pin and saves the problem of trying to find a thin enough screw driver.------- |
