Question Interior cabin temperature sensor

Hi all,

Could not find anything regarding the cabin temp sensor.
Driving a 2005 CDTi contemporary SE.

My AC and my heater incl matrix are working.
Issue is that my automatic temp setting nor the actual temp setting (e.g. "21C") do not work. I either get cold or hot air. I can only "regulate" it by setting it to "HI" or "LO".

A readout showing that the interior cabin temp sensor has failed. Where would I find the item and what's the part number for a replacement? Is it equal to the pyramid-shaped sunlight sensor close to the windscreen?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers

Mats
