Which ever it is it'll be in his hand as he approaches you, either creates an equally disturbing vision

Sorry to hear your news Steve, you (and the rest of your family) have our sympathies. I take it it was unexpected?

Hello everyone, feeling a bit better now, even though you know its coming it do not make it any easier to take.

Dave had been in hospital for the past week,it was horrible just seeing him lay there,In a way it is a happy release because the family would not want him to go through anymore pain, suffering and loss of dignity.

I shall still be going away tomorrow, thats what he would have wanted,I cannot do anything,he has 2 lovely daughters who will be arranging everything.

I shall be fishing knowing he will be there with me,like he was 50 odd years ago when he used to take me as a young boy.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and messages

Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

I think it will be a time for contemplation and to remember all the great times you shared together as loving brothers.
He will be looking down on you making sure you catch some great fish knowing how well he taught you as his younger brother..

Keep and treasure those memories, they never die and will be with you both always.
