5 years
It's been five years since I won my 75 on an ebay auction. I have travelled about 40 thousand miles and loved all of it .In those years its morphed from a facelift connoisseur into, technically, a SE with lots of original accessories added too .I've been through times when I have looked at other brands of car but never found anything that matched the overall feeling you get so it's now getting lots of future proofing to hopefully make it last for a few years more. I would like to say a big thanks to people in the club for their help and posts and to the great fellow owners I have met at quite a few meets .

Thanks for your post. You obviously love the 75 model as much as I love mine. Driving it is such a pleasure, comfort and style. In my book the 75 is right up there with the best styled cars, so easy on the eye.

It is a strange thing with the Rover 75 and MG ZT - unless you have the opportunity to drive and own one, you can't find out how amazing they are. And for me the difference between the R75 and the MG ZT is an eye opener too. I have ended up with one of each, and it is like chalk and cheese (or more stilton and cheddar? seeing as chalk don't taste too good :-) - the whole feel, seating position, engine response etc is so different. I love both of them and will be trying to make sure I can hang on to them for as long as possible. I had a stainless steel exhaust made for my original R75, which is worth doing and costs little more than replacing the sections.
