indicators not working correctly
Hi I have a problem with my indicators. Whenever I pull the stalk to indicate left the indicator makes one flash to the right then comes on the left. I thought initially it was just me not.doing it correctly but it does it every time. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think you will find the resistor pad at the base of the stalk needs a bit of a wipe. The indicators appear to be controlled by measuring the resistance of the switch. When turning one way a certain resistance is switched, and the other a higher resistance. When the pad is dirty it is the same as the higher resistance and so thinks you're indicating the other way. At least thats my theory.
I found cleaning the switch pad solved it. |
