A fantastic talent,a natural guitarist and has to be one of the best from the era.
Some say he never recovered from an Acid trip in Germany,it would have contributed to his split personality..He spent a bit of time in Institutions in the 70's,even grew his finger nails so he couldn't play the guitar,even gave his money away. The Sunburst 58 Les Paul he played eventually ended up in the hands of Gary Moore who promised to take care of it and was purchased for fifty quid then,was recently purchased by an LA based collector for a cool $2 million. |
