The other half drives a Ford Ka - she loves the 75 but refuses to drive it, says it is too big for her. I'm not going to argue! Son, when he's at home, has a Mitsubishi FTO which you can hear a couple of miles away.

Fantastic! That was the last quality car Triumph made IMO. With its thick pile carpets and Wood trim and confy seats & oodles of sound proofing.
You can even change the clutch in a hour without removal of gearbox!!

It all went down hill on quality from the TOLEDO onwards, although the Dolly Sprint was a great car!!
Indeed a FWD and I agree with all you say. The thing that really rings my bell is the way that the doors close, shear class and such a quality sound.

Same here, missing mine, sold the last one in November 06. That has been the first time without an Allegro for 15 years. I will get back into the fold though.

My 75 shares its space with the wife's Ford black Ka. She insists her car goes in the garage.

SWMBO's Solar Red MGF 1.8i. Oh, and my daily driver, a Proton Impian GSX. The Proton has to live outdoors though.

the patio furniture, at least in the winter,

2 spare engines and boxes of assorted spares for the JZR

all my tools as it's my workshop as well, the proof is on the back door - a sign saying "Malc's Place",

the tumble dryer,

and lots more which I won't bore you with.......................
