Default Bestest brightest lights ever

This is for those who already have Xenons fitted.
I had to do a conversion to LHD on the ZT, and decided to go Bi-Xenon whilst doing it. The result is fairly spectacular. Not only do you have Xenon on Low Beam, but you get Xenon on high beam also.
The same procedure would work on a RHD car.
If anyone is interested I can write a How To, so post up on here, and if there is enough interest I'll go ahead.
Mick

There are some good bi-xenon inserts on fleabay, I was considering some myself...

Thumbs up

I was thinking of doing something like this to the Main Beam on my lights. An idiot's guide for me to follow would be a great idea!

I'm currently doing something similar. The problem I came across is you will lose the main beam "flash to pass" function if you replace the halogen main beam with bi-xenon. The burner simply doesn't ignite fast enough and I suspect it would fail the MOT.

What I'm currently doing is similar to the OP in replacing the current OEM xenon with a fleabay bi-xenon. That way I get similar Xenon dipped beam, but main beam will be bi-xenon plus original halogen bulbs........

I just put HID's on dip/main/fogs. The dip and main beam is a 10 min job each bulb. A kid can do it. The fogs I had to take the bumper off.

When you flash the main beam they do flash then go low and then brighten up. There is no problem flashing. The main beam that is!
