Cleaned both my EGR and the PCV?,
EGR was not as bad as the pics on your site Ron, But the other side where it connects to the engine, was solid and there must of been only about 45mm of clear space, Any how while that was soaking and i thought i would do the PCV? The filter was soaking wet with oil, The oil was very thin but i have cleaned that up and just waiting for it to dry out, The fact it was wet was ok yeah? |

Mine was pretty sodden as well when I removed it for cleaning Alex. You can never get it like new but I found it made a big difference to full throttle smoke when cleaned. Now I've fitted the EGR bypass I have no smoke at all even on full throttle on synergy setting 10. I'd be surprised if the car is much off of 160bhp and about 260lbs/ft of torque.
Aren't diesels great??????
