I had a chance to properly trial the shark fin aerial today and I'm pleased to say it passed with flying colours
I selected DAB station (Smooth East midlands) here in Derby and then drove 45 miles into the peak district through all sorts of hilly terrain and reception remained perfect at all times with 5/5 bars showing all the way there and back. This would have been unthinkable with the windscreen aerial,it was hit and miss even in certain parts of the city, especially at night and when the nav was in use.It was well worth the investment,I don't listen to anything other than DAB+ now. |

One day I will upgrade my Rover 75 with one of these Android radios! It really looks and feels like a modern car after !
I am just too afraid to make it myself. I need a youtube video and then I might try that! But I am willing to pay someone too, since it looks very complicated. But once made, your Rover looks very, very modern! Kudos to all of you guys!!! #GettingRidOfMyCassetteRadioSoon |

Hi Kim if you visit the UK in your 75 in the future to attend a meeting I'm sure club members would be willing to fit a new unit for you.If you wanted a roof aerial it would probably require a second day.You could always contact Jubbs and see what he could arrange for you.Alternatively there will be specialists in Germany who would be able to fit it for you ☺ |

Could definitely do with one of these at some point - Although I mainly use AUX I do often like to listen to XS radio on my way to Chester, the only problem is that as soon as I get halfway there I lose signal and have to put up with Radio 2 or 4 instead!
