eBay is looking for three amateur car restoration projects in the UK.
The chosen projects will receive £4,000 each to spend on restoring their vehicle using car parts bought on eBay.co.uk.

Dave, you will have to go out a buy a non running MK1 Capri and enter that, then hope you win the 4k to get it back on the road.

I've read this a dozen times now, and cant fathom it out.

To qualify for the Promotion, the submitted cars must have hit the road no earlier than 40 years ago (1977 or older) and be a passenger car, a 4-wheel-drive, or a camper (but not a mobile home). Non-exhaustive examples of these are:

I know what you mean I was confused as well, I thought it meant cars have to be on the road with MOT in 1977, but looks like its talking about vintage cars, all the cars seen on the comp are all classics, they need too explain it better on the comp page.

I'm sure were not the only confused by this.

Dave, when I read the statement on the first ebay page, it sounds as though the cars entered must have hit the road no later than 1977.

But! when you click on the T&C's, it reads slightly different and seems to suggest cars no earlier than 40 years ago (1977 or older). Would this mean all cars from 1977 onwards are eligible

Your Probe may get lucky yet...
