Regarding your air conditioning, the compressor engaging is a good sign. The system is probably low on refrigerant. You're right to look for a local, mobile self-employed specialist. Don't be lured by low prices to the fast fit boys or to a general garage offering air conditioning services (I've had my wallet burnt on that score ).

Hi,as Simon mentioned,I recommend this Kettering specialist,after I had a recommended mobile a/c specialist which was a waste of time as it did not solve my screaching compressor I contacted these guys and they were excellent.But I did replace my compressor and condenser before hand which they checked and passed before gassing.Give them a call,just down the road from you.Regards Ry...
