G'day all - shopping Friday soon came round again didn't it? New Year's Day we have a pub lunch for around a dozen of the family, and although my sister isn't physically capable of joining us this year, she is insistent that the rest of us go at her expense. SWMBO has decided everyone will be coming back to our house afterwards for tea, so of course we had to go out and stock up the larder. I managed to divert her attention whilst I snuck a huge joint of smoked gammon and some suitably gooey and creamy desserts into the shopping trolley - that's me sorted!
Before that, it's daughter's birthday on Sunday - so we're off round to hers for a giant cauldron of spag bol and a few loaves of garlic bread. Think I'll cut down my food consumption from 2nd January onwards - can't afford too many new pairs of trousers

Evening all, was out a work do last night,a couple of beers followed by a curry. Had a lazy afternoon after visiting a mate who is up from London, really tired after late night yesterday, so vatch you all tomorrow.

Morning all, mild dry & a bit of a breeze today. not a good start to the day! I switched the computer in the living room on this morning & the hard drive went belly up

Had to get the reserve one out the wardrobe with lots of updates to download & install.
