Had a mooch around Albert Looms scrapyard in Derby and came across a warning triangle in an old VW Passat.
Fitted a treat: They had one more in a Bora if anyone is on the lookout. Also a Starlight Silver ZT-T and purple 75 saloon in there |

Today I fitted a horrendously expensive (£70-including intercooler duct) new rubber seal to the intercooler duct/throttle body on my 1.8t. Apparently these are like hens teeth but there you go. Now runs Smooooooth though!
Also fitted a new door card to the rear drivers side door. That was a bargain £15 purchase so I suppose that evens it out. Replaced the one the previous owners dog had chewed! Interior karma restored. Then gave it a wash just to encourage it to rain again. |

Stopped on the hard shoulder of the A1, opened the bonnet, removed my boot and gave the UBP a clout with my steel toe cap.
Funnily enough, I've not had to perform this procedure while driving the 45 I rather think it's time to convert to a single pump version Brian |
