Air con question
Now that its warm I tried the ZTs aircon and its erm...hot lol! I've read standing a long rime out of use could cause this as the seals dry without lubricant circulating. Is that true or could I be in for a big repair bill?

Does the car have gas in it? also is the low sped working on the car, check by doing the demist test, remember on petrol cars the car must be running, ask Lates if he checked if everything was as it should be when he did your belts ?

My suggestion is that you put into Google: Car air conditioning service Ilkeston and choose a small, independent specialist, hopefully mobile, who will give you the most attentive, comprehensive service. Simon

Dawn, you aren't too far from the garage that I used to repair my a/c. They are located in Grassmoor nr Chesterfield. Superb service and he really does know what he's doing ,especially since he has practised on my car!
Call Woodleigh motor sales on 01246 850686 and ask for John Carr. |

Now, servicing means getting a specialist, that is a person who actually has some working knowledge of automotive a/c and has been doing the job for more than an afternoon to carry it out. Don't go to the likes of KS etc they just follow a procedure written on a card then hit a button, ( I am assuming they actually are able to read!, and that is asking a lot in the Britain of today.) And that is it. |

It was mentioned to me the other day, so I looked into it. Yes, it may not always be cooling the air, but it also runs as a dehumidifier, even when it's sending warm air into the cabin. It's true climate control as opposed to air con. And yes, it needs looking after just like any other system on the car.
