You are right about the price Anthony. I would leave the Navall in the car and throw in the colour coded new spare front bumper, all in for £2,500 and see what happens. I am having the electrics checked on Wed by one of the gurus. You have great insights, spot on

2 years ago I spent £4000 on LJW and last year £586 to Jules. This year, nearly £400 to Andy, so can't complain. I am up to about £7000 in outlay over the 4 years of ownership and am calling it a day, even though I love the car I am feeling like a change.

Wow, and I thought I had spent quite a bit of money. My biggest expense, was the clutch and the recovery of the vehicle. £849, that was hard to swallow and the ear ache I got from the wife lol.

Fully understand your feelings Phil, no matter how much you like a car there has to be a cut off point. My 160 was named "The Black Widow" by the previous owner's partner because all it did was take his money!
