My mother's car was due not at the end of may. We both forgot about it, and she was reminded after a discussion with friend of hers. Her friend asked if she had applied for and subsequently had her test date cancelled, which was the procedure to obtain the extension. I looked it up, and sure enough, it is due to expire at the end of November now, with no input from us.

We cannot mot our cars, as they are operated by govt stations. To complicate matters, these stations were closed at the beginning of the year, due to failing equipment. This was why we had to apply for a date and have it cancelled to obtain the extension. With the lockdown,I believe this made the extension automatic (and also some stations having their equipment removed and converted to covid 19 drive through testing centres!)

My understanding, and I asked my garage on this, is that if you've got a 6 month extension to the MOT, then when you do get it tested the MOT is then valid for 12 months from the test date (not from when it was originally due)

I have a 220 coupe turbo as well as the 75. The MOT on the coupe was due today as it happens. When I looked on the GOV site last week, the expiry date has changed to the 10th December.

I booked my ZT into Marshall Motors to have the clutch replaced.
He's doing it next week.

Looking forward to driving it without using two feet to press the clutch down with!

It has been fitted with an original arm that had been shotblasted and painted.

Just a couple of small jobs this week. I removed the wheels from my ZT that I painted last month. Now that the paint has set up I gave them a good cleaning and a coat of protective polish to keep them looking good.
When I had them off I remembered that I had ordered a replacement rear brake wear harness to replace the frayed one on the car, so that job, after a year, has now been done.
