Fought my ZT for hours trying to service it
Changed the oil & tried to replace the fuel filter
Car fought me all the way: undertray remove/refit, over-tightened sump plug & seized on fuel filter. Had to double check with my mechanic brother that Freelander oil filter fitment was OK so, with above, oil change was a faff but OK... ... however, I didn't have my strap (oil) filter removal tool so fuel filter refused to budge from filter head despite my efforts. Whole lot's back on for now. Will give the strap a go tomorrow but any tips/ideas as the plastic filter head is obviously more delicate than the average oil filter housing. |

Finally got round to adjusting handbrake. Already had a modified compensator fitted by arctic while ago, did take me a while to locate adjusters in hubs but once found easy to adjust. Still takes 5 clicks to hold it on drive though.

Got five bikes on the ZTT and went for a 20 mile bike ride with the entire crew; ready for beer/wine/chips now. That's how it works right?

What I did today? I always hated the minimal light that came from my glovebox. So today I took it out, drilled 6 holes and mounted 6 warm white LED.
