New Reg,,,who to do plates??
Hi all.
Been and bought me a new registration. Now need to perouse the best plate makers. Seems there was a lot of comparisons a while back but not any the wiser ATM. I am concerned with the quality of the smiley shape as many makers seem to get it wrong from some that I have looked at. Either they have straight upper sides where they should have a slight curve, or they get the bottom radius all wrong and it looks cack! Your thoughts fellow countrymen!!

try ebay lots of sellers make decent quality items, remember to get the manufacturers id on the plate and a postcode to stay legal. |

I think that only applies to new style registrations, AFAIK older ones don't need this however my private plates don't have the postcode and I've never had a problem even when they've been on newer cars.

Anyone else got one of these?
I have now received the new "White Smiley" plate from Hardridden. After a little discussion we agreed what format this should take to conform with the Portuguese Authorities - I show the Original plate on delivery, the original overlaid with the Portuguese one and the New White Smiley.
I like it... Martin, in sunny Portugal |
