Default Diesel Power upgrade

I keep hearing about an ecu upgrade that has an unbelievable effect on power.
Apparently my lowly 116bhp CDT, and be transformed into a 160bhp fire breathing beast.
Tempting, but this concerns me,
Any thoughts ?

"For reliability, go for the low power 115 CDI rather than the 131 CDTI. Yes, BMW engine, but in BMWs the more powerful versions go through turbos".
