Oooh, that must have made your eyes water!
Covid booster done, flu jab done so I'll probably feel cr@p tomorrow, usually do the day after a flu jab. Dunno why I bothered making an appointment, supposed to be 12:55 at a vacant shop commandeered as a vaccination hub in a shopping centre in the middle of Edinburgh, arrived in the shopping centre at 12:40 with the intention of wandering around to kill time, huge queue outside the vaccination "shop", better join it, finally got out of the place at 13:40. Post Office was just next door, "sorry we don't do passport photos". Had to go to a nearby Timpsons, £12.99 bend over and take that Handed me the link to the digital photo along with four hard copies . . . . Jesus, I look old |

Evening everyone. I never got any gardening done nor clearing out the garage. But had a busy day recovering all my emails after I got well and truly hacked. Changed very single password, twice.
Gammon rasher, mash and green beans. Stewed apple for dessert. Chilling out with a pot of tea. Giving the falling down water a rest.

Phone battery estimated delivery was the 17th, just received an automated message from seller confirming that it was despatched on the 17th Still waiting (im)patiently, battery in the phone is goosed, well goosed. Spoke to Ging on FT this morning and the battery nose dived from 100% to 40, charged it again before I went for my jabs, Ging FT'd again earlier and it nose dived from 60-70% to 1%. Even just sitting on standby it barely lasts a day.

Morning all, what’s everyone up to?
Yesterday I received an invoice from the hospital for the prosthetic aorta, the operation and stay in hospital. I rang up billing at the hospital and asked them to forward the invoice onto the insurance company paying the hospital bills. Yesterday I achieved a fantastic result in resolving the constipation I have had for the past 3 weeks, what a relief. A bowl of bran, 40ml of Lactulose, an enema…..eureka! This evening I have an appointment to see the surgeon for follow up and will have a few questions for him to answer: when will the internal stitches stop pulling on my belly, when will I be able to sleep on my side, when I go through an airport scanner - will the prosthetic aorta set off an alarm or can I not be scanned, when will I be fit to fly? When will my appetite come back? Not a lot to ask in the scheme of things Have a great day |

Morning everyone from overcast land of the pasty.
I was convinced today was Wednesday, must be signs of old age looming. So it will be essential shopping day. I’ll have to take the wee one as Banana is waiting on her appointment with the workshop.

Morning all from a damp, drizzly and dismal Midlands.
Looks like i'll be needing a coat for Quizzie's walk this morning - if she can be persuaded to wake up . Phil - Thanks for the link. Lots of fascinating and informative stuff on there. Glad to hear that your "blockage" has been resolved . Take care everyone. |
