Default How much? Guess, eye watering

I guess I'm giving a clue here just by asking but guess how much an Aqualisa "Gold" shower hose is?

I have looked at 2 web sites and they are about £15 apart for same item.

Problem with not using original is colour match.
Not only do I need a hose but also the holder for the shower head, alas cannot get it in correct colour. Just need the part the shower head sits in, not the whole part

We have a Showerlux bespoke bi-fold shower door, just as we ordered they stopped doing "Gold". Had to make ours as an extra special order.
We have never been ones to be part of the in-crowd, always the odd ones out.

May have to look at having stuff "Gold" plated as our taps in the bathroom have see better days.

the price of the hose "took my breath away" eye watering as a friend would say. Can see a universal hose being used

Hmm I don't know what a normal stainless steel one would be £20? So £100 for a gold looking one?

Edit: you mean your shower door is gold looking?

I don’t know but I recall having to pay £125 in 1985 for a new aqualisa shower temperature sensing core thingy (what ever it’s called).

Could have bought a house for that then and still had change for a Learjet.

Avoided aqualisa ever since.

I thought shower hoses were supposed to be eye watering?

the frame is yes.

universal shower hose is less then £20, god knows how Aqualisa can justify £100 for theirs unless it is indeed gold plated.

That was a good guess then

Gold is a pretty unusual colour for shower parts, I don't think I've seen one before. Non mainstream stuff always costs more.

Screwfix do a gold one for £15.99 I'd be tempted to go and check how much of a difference there is between the colours and whether you could live with the difference.

I'm not paying a hundred quid for a shower hose.
