Just ordered some plates from hardridden.

£23.90 front & rear, only really needed rear as I now haved a towbar so need a plate for the trailer but decided to go for the Rover style rear plate so had to get a front one to match as decided to have the welsh flag on the plate. Hope the wife don't mind....

Not any more!!!

From Demonplates Web Site:
(Revision to this section - From the 1st November 2008, the manufacture of 'show plates' became illegal. Before this it was illegal for somebody to use 'show plates' on the UK highway. Now it is illegal for any company to manufacture a number plate which displays a VRM (vehicle registration mark) which does not comply with current legislation. We no longer make or sell show plates).

This is what I am going with from Demonplates:

lol except the two examples from Demonplates are technically illegal as there is no manufacturers postcode or name, no BSAU marking and it has a rover logo under the EU flag!!

Nope!! There legal!!

The makers name and BS number are put at the top in 2.5 mm lettering ( not shown on the example given) and you can have a logo on the EU strip, not just a flag.

Demon are very touchy about not doing illegal plates. They wouldn't let me have any extra spacing!!

Check there blurb on the website under FAQ,s
