Just seeing reports he has been jailed for three years - with two years suspended.

He’s been found guilty of corruption and influence peddling.

An appeal could be in the offing, be surprised if he doesn't. To me Macron might have more serious questions to answer at the end of the day. His early conduct over the AZ vaccine I suspect might have put an untold number of lives at risk in europe. It smacked of protectionism for France's own pharma interests.

Yes! It didn't end well for the lady that comment was attributed to. Monsieur Robespierre was eventually also a victim of Madame Guillotine when Karma caught up with him
