I was nearly tempted by a Freelander late last year. It was a 2.5 V6 with LPG.

My arthritic hips and knees have made me think about something easier to get in and out of. I've been looking at Freelanders, Range Rovers and Honda CRV's. I'll be interested to know what you report on this one. There was a diesel Automatic freelander near me that took my eye.

One of my good friends bought an 04 TD4 Freelander about two years ago. Ex demo model with all the history and one owner after dealer. He is delighted with it.
Very comfortable, good engine.

His is dark blue..polishes up really well and mint inside

halfway through replacing the clutch, knew it needed doing when I bought it, which is why I got it cheap

I had a 2000 Freelander a few years ago but it had the 1.8 k series engine that was very under-powered and needed replacement after HGF. It was a lovely comfortable car that I drove across Europe. The intermediate gearbox caused me some problems so it was front wheel drive most of the time. Always knew the Td4s were the ones to have. Have fun with it! (but its not a 75!)

I bought a Honda CR-V for the wife around 18 months ago
Absolutely superb car - can’t fault it at all
Much easier to get in and out of especially the grandkids and the dog
