4 horses dead

4 horses have been killed by vehicles in the New Forest. Apparently the horses were licking the salt that had been put on the road. The B3078 Roger Penny Way, another local road that I know.
No street lighting but good visibility.
Not sure if one incident or as many as 4.

I have to wonder what speed the vehicle's were traveling at but the limit is 30 and 40 mph, manly 40

For goodness sakes, take care, it should not come as a shock to anyone driving in the New Forest that there are horses, cows, pigs or dear on the road!
