When my other half was working in the Lakes I'd float between here and there. Two butchers almost next door to each other. One did a variety of pork pies during the tourist season, the chilli pork pie was to die for

Nah, not up here Rev. Trouble is pork pies aren't so popular north of the border, its mince pies up here, ie a pie with minced beef in it. Only pork pies you can get up here are supermarket ones.
