Coincidental? Very unlikely...

Coordinated? I know where my money is. I bet he has “very mild symptoms” because he’s had both jabs too.

Hopefully he makes a full and speedy recovery, but can you believe he somehow got covid at the worst possible moment? And he’s the man that is supposed to steer us out of this? Something doesn’t add up to me... more scaremongering and a reason to do another u-turn.

Once again, damned if they do, damned if they don't. He has taken the steps required, I hope he recovers well and quickly, and is able to conduct his work, which ultimately, is aimed at keeping us all safe.

I see PM and chancellor don’t have to isolate.

In the latest episode of ‘one rule for them, and one rule for us’ :

Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak avoid Covid isolation despite seeing Sajid Javid by deciding they will take part in a test and release trial that won’t be generally available for months.

Shocked !

Yes, I don’t think this will endear them to the general public.

Acceptable excuses for breaking the law/rules, update:

It was in a limited and specific way
It was unintentional (Patel)
I was following natural justice (Jenrick)
I was having an eye test
The matter is closed
I’m on a pilot scheme

BoJo’s bubble will burst at some point and he’ll become a liability. How he gets away with his forever over optimistic COVID guidance, I’ll never know.

I will still wear a mask and exercise caution. Although I'm now double jabbed some are not and others not at all which I think still gives the virus some wriggle room to wreak havoc on the population and our NHS. To get back to any resemblance of what was normality pre-covid I think the world will be seesawing in and out of lockdown to test the water. I can't see any viable and sustainable alternative.

Boris & co talked themselves into a corner and despite rising cases didn't want to reverse what they said. Instead they lift the regulations and tell everyone to use common sense carry on as if they're still in place I for one haven't seen a lot of evidence of common sense at any point in the pandemic.

Personally I don't trust anything Boris comes out with, if he told me it was daylight I'd look out of the window to check.
