After picking up a sunblind from a very respected forum member at the NEC it is now fitted. I sourced a switch. The wiring in this car is all fully there.

In the last couple of days some work on S544 AOX has been done.
The original drivers door has got rust all along the bottom edge and side. So I had sourced a replacement. When removing the original I have found it to has had a replacement skin fitted. This is why it was rusting I think. Original door lock removed from the old door and fitted to the replacement. Note the original is pre production item as it has a black rear surround not like the standard white ones. Front drivers door card fitted for the first time aswell. Rear drivers aftermarket speaker removed and replaced with genuine harmon Kardon item. The link cable for the rear latch was also broken so that needed changing. The door card was refitted for the first time aswell. Both doors got replacement switch packs and interior handles as these were all missing. Thank you

I have to applaud your industry and knowledge in refurbing this car - cannot wait to see when finished.

Just like to say Josh, what energy you are putting into this project. You will have a car that you can truly call your own when finished. It is a labour of love for sure. I wish you all the best for 2023, and the highlight that awaits you when finished. You must be the most dedicated Rover 75 owner on this forum. Happy New Year Josh.
