Many of the "performance enhancing" modifications championed by the vendor of the synergy unit actually damage the MAF sensor.......chopping off the concertina from the air intake, bypassing the water shedder fitted to the slam panel for instance

From a point of view of someone who has diagnosed a fair few cars with "faulty" MAF symptoms, many of these are attributable to EGR defects instead

Certainly not, the price has been the same since 2013, and it's certainly nowhere near £200

Hoy yee !! stop stirring it

All I know is when I had my 1st 75 cdt Club 115 (2001 Y reg) with Aubergine Personal line fabric seats back in 2005 is was a case of putting life on line every time I pulled away from a junction until I fitted a Synergy 1 Ronbox to it. After that it pulled away like a car should do from junctions and did so nicely for 18 months and 25,000 miles until I had the car custom re-mapped by a guy just outside of Dudley for £200 in 2007. I can only go on my own experience and what it cost me back then.

Either your engine wasn't performing correctly or your technic needed a bit of a brush up.

I have a 2003 CDT club that pulls away very well and has been no problem in the 13 years I've owned it.

Just in case you ask I do know what good acceleration is like as my motor bike does 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds and 0 to 100 in eight.---Top speed 150.-----

PS. That's the back wheel in my AVATAR picture.

IMHO there's only a couple of alternatives here:

Get a T4 session done to find out what is actually going on OR

Contact CivilSteve and get a rolling road session.

Otherwise you're just guessing and changing stuff willy nilly to try and get it sorted. Yes, it's likely that you're MAF is duff but a T4 will tell you it is, or it isn't and they're not a cheap thing to be buying 'cus it might be kaput. The T4 may also bring to light other issues that are contributing to your problems.

Good Luck.
