Got to laugh haven't ya

How's that little furry fella of yours doing? Haven't had any photo updates for a while.
He's alright thanks Graham. My internet has been playing up so I haven't posted any pics of anything for a while

There are many things I could say here but the thread would be closed for sure & it's not the right place to say it.

I will say that it's a disgrace that this has happened (as said in post #1) & that I totally agree with post #22.

Our cars fly the Union Flag, how long will it be before we are told to remove them?

My mate got arrested for wearing Adidas Samba...... well he was burgling a house at the time, whilst on drugs, and had just beaten the owner senseless, however he was wearing Adidas Samba.
Hope non of his ill gotten gains are fitted to my car!

I wouldn't bother starting threads like this, it'll only get locked down.

Purely my opinion, but all 50 should have been arrested for stupidity :P
Read the link posted by Simondi quoted below - not minding her own business at all, not arrested, and not detained due to the carrying of the Union flag either.

If we started having people arrested for nothing more than stupidity then then they'd be few left unmolested by the long arm of the law.

Thank you Simondi. It always surprises me how much people 'quote' and repeat without even doing a basic check of the facts like reading the article you've linked to. Unfortunately you see more ill-informed comments after you posted this link.

Quite rightly, while there is a social forum here, let us remember that first and foremost this is a forum for enthusiasts of the Rover 75 and MG ZT cars - not a political soapbox. We are all here to meet on common ground of our liking of the cars. Inciting expression of political opinion can be nothing other than divisive.

Quite right. A problem that seems to be suffered by many that can't be bothered to check their facts and think about it even when given a direct link. It's like trying to get some people to leave this sort of thing alone on the forum. Yes I know I don't have to read it: but that's like saying just ignore something that's wrong and don't stick your oar in. Well I won't keep quiet when something is wrong and It's right in front of me.

That was exactly my Point Mate, hence my tongue in cheek comments.

Along with my far fetched story about my so called "mate"

Good to see there's more people on here with sense.

So it isn't just me then?
I also have a problem, not here in particular but in other places, when people just post rubbish without even thinking, let alone checking.

Okay, I admit to have posted rubbish myself but that is due to brain malfunction rather than blind faith in the Internet.

Then I hear things like "Well it's better to be safe than sorry" and "It might have been genuine"

<goes away to have a quiet scream in the corner>

That's better. Now then whatever happened to rational thought and reviewing evidence
