Chris - finally got round to trial fitting mine today.

Couldn't get any DVD's or CD's to play for more than a few seconds. Just said disc error and then Card and then Blue Screen.

Haven't tried GPS or SatNav so don't know if have any probs there.

Was very impressed with iPod connectivity - full track info displayed on the screen.

Have sent email to seller - will let you know how I get on.

Chris

Chris

They trade under more than 1 name on eBay - I sent emails to 2 companies asking if their eRising units had TMC. They replied telling me I had them the same question twice.

As well as Otter-Shop they are also EasyRising88

I bought mine from a company in Germany, with a London office.

I bought an Erising from otter shop, and thankfully so far have had no problems. However, had an email today saying that units shipped after 1st August will have custom duty added. (Mine arrived in July, so hopefully will be ok). Their items on ebay still say shipped from UK with no VAT or import duty to pay, so beware.

Here is the text of the message:

Dear Customer:Thanks for your business from us,These days we found that many buyers, especially UK buyers, paid custom charge for the Registered mail parcel,Here we apologize for this, and some buyer just thought it is the postage, please note we have paid the postage for the Registered mail parcel already, you can find the stamp on the envelope still, also you can check, if we did not paid the postage already, HK post will not send the parcel out,The fees your post office charges is just your local custom charge, for the details you can ask your post office,This new rule of custom charge just happens from 1. August, all parcels arrived in UK from 1. August will be charged, as these days many of our customers complained about this, then we just know, as before we also do not know this will happen, we just beg for your professional understanding,Also these days we will revise all our ebay ads and put the news on the top of our item description, we just need time to finish this. Thanks for your understanding on this matter,Customerservice,Nice dayotter-shop

Hi Chris, I hope it doesn't take as long as mine did, nearly 4 weeks.

Keep us informed of the progress
