I am having a problem downloading the file I just get bumped to a blank page saying this site cant be reached connection was reset, any ideas please.

I was getting that after my antivirus blocked the download. I had to suspend the antivirus, close the software page then reopen it. Turned out to be pointless, downloaded the software, installed it, reactivated the antivirus which promptly ate the software when I tried to open it!

It probably has the same but count or chq sum or some such...

It has no virus afaik

I turned of the AV and downloaded the program as soon as the AV came back on it booted the program off, I have reported it as a false negative so wait and see what happens.

Exactly what happened with me but I've got the BMW software anyway so didn't bother pursuing it.

You meant a 'false positive' I think...

A positive is where it identifies a virus where none is present.

A negative is where no virus is identified, but there is one.

Download it again with your A/V off, put on USB stick and then install it on the laptop just like any other Program (.exe)
