I have downloaded all my pictures from my account and then deleted it and told them the reason why as well, funny thing is my account will not be deleted until 07/11/2017.

I wonder if the length of time is because they may backtrack if to many close accounts.

I have kept a separate file on my PC of all photos posted to PB as I always edited the size of them before uploading.

I suppose through time I could use another host to replace the photos but it would be a mammoth task.

My concern would be if that other host were to go along the same route as PB
We would be back at square one.

My project thread is dead as I stupidly used pb to share the photos. I have all the originsls on my hard drive but dont have the inclination to rebuild it. Maybe during a winters evening I may feel differently

I see the link to download the photos. Once downloaded I'll attempt to close the account.

Best fortunes to you... I will be deleting my PB account as it is almost unworkable anyway... This may affect some "How To's, etc, but you, and others of the Team have them secured for the future...

Best regards, as always, to the Team....

I think that it may be only a matter of time before something similar happens elsewhere, I do not think that any "free" platform is immune from this - FB included. There are always costs to be met so someone somewhere has to pay.

Hi scorpio,
It's possible that the format is different - It could be 11th July 2017.

Regards, Malc.
