Cost me £30 and a bit of sweat to replace the brake pipes on our tourer and I'm far from skilled.

You're probably right about the MOT, but we all know that what reads like a large list to the unitiated often appears less daunting to people who know the cars.

I've emailed the seller, seems genuine enough, says there's been nothing in his ownership of the car to suggest it needs much.

Good question Murphy - who is from Spalding?

oh and....it's lasted the night so here's my shocked face

Yay!

Someone bought it.

I hope it was someone from here.

I have a bunch of spares from my old tourer so if it was, and they need anything to get it mot'd give me a shout and if I have it they can have it for postage

To be honest if it had been the other side of the Pennines I would have bought it last night. I know it wasn't that far away but it was just far enough.

To be honest though I would have had it for the offside front wing, the front bumper and a few other bits and pieces to keep mine going so I hope someone who actually wants to drive it got it.

I hope it is someone on here if it had been auto I would have snapped his hand off, I have a lovely Neptune blue leather interior inc door cards and dash that would have gone in that.
