Help alarm fob key problems.
Here is the list of my problems. 2 fob keys broken (MG ROVER WANT A WEEK TO SEND TO GERMANY ETC and they need me in person all the way to Gravesend etc They want £240 and I am working away)
I have a leek but my alarm goes off when I release the bonnet. Also my boot needs to be released from inside the boot (worried this will activate alarm) I think I pressed boot release when moving. In an ideal world I would like to deactivate alarm and let my mechanic discover what has caused the leek etc. Can the alarm be deactivated. Is it possible to any mechanical work on this vehicle whilst I don't have the fobs working correctly? I have had an auto locksmith come out and he couldn't do a fob for me alas MG ROVER did say they were the only ones capable. Central locking works Etc Anyone got any concrete advice? Regards Johnny |
