Autobox question etc
Whilst changing the under bonnet fuel pump today I did notice 2 things - firstly, the UBP fuel pipe connects to the top of the fuel filer housing but there seems to be an empty connector on that side, should something be plugged in there?
Secondly - having removed the battery box etc, I notice a small brassy coloured pipe on top of the auto gearbox but nothing was connected to it, should there be or should it remain open to the air? thanks for reading

Nothing is connected to the pipe on the autobox A few people including me have asked about this in the past.
