Things to do in Louth
We are going to Louth in Lincolnshire for the weekend and we need some ideas for things to see while there. Apparently the site we are on has nothing on it for the kids (in laws caravan) so we don't want to be stuck in with 2 bored destruction agents All ideas gratefully received

We are already booked for POL and then I'm going to the Carter Bar meet the next weekend so if I try to sneak a visit in to Trikey as well she will literally castrate me with a rusty spoon

How far is Louth from Skegness ?
There is a Butlins and opposite that you have Fantasy Island as well that should keep them amused. Lovely beaches at Skeggy and not forgetting the Seal Sanctury which is well worth a visit

In view of the weather forecast, take some playing cards and old fashioned board games. Especially something for the evenings. Enjoy the weekend.

We stayed in Louth a few times when I was younger, as my Dad's Godmother was from there. There are a lot of windmills around, which can be pretty cool to look around. Louth itself is nice, and there's a market in the town. I'm trying to remember all of the things we used to do there, but I can't recall, at the moment.

you have a few things but not that local, Fantasy Island is a 7 day market and fun fair type thing surrounded by arcades, Mabelthorpe you have the seal sanctuary, and a nice beach. Skegness you have the fun fair on the front and and Butlins that you can get day passes for.
