Club grille badges on ebay

Just spotted these for sale by a breaker on eBay. Says they're new and they've got three of them. Anyone we know? Are they legit?

These had appeared once before from that seller. We certainly haven't supplied them to him. As they appear to be brand new stock, we could only conclude that they must have been sourced from the company who produced them for us.

I contacted our suppliers immediately and they said they would look into it asap. Shortly afterwards, the badges that were listed by the seller mysteriously disappeared from his ebay listings

Now they are back

I will have to get in contact with our supplier again as I think there is something very fishy going on here

The club paid a great deal of money to have these badges produced exclusively for our members, if you buy one from this seller, I can assure you the money you pay will not be going anywhere near the Owners Club for future projects or shop items.

I have just contacted our supplier again, and also emailed the sellers directly too. I await their responses. We shall see what they have to say. Thanks for pointing out that they were back for sale again BTW

I had no intention of buying one off them, I thought they looked a little 'dodgy'.
Only found them by chance, I was looking for a new badge for my ZTT.

I didn't know the individual could buy them directly from the suppliers and sell them on. Is it not a contract just between the mods of the club and the supplier?

anyway, well spotted by Paul and glad it's been reported. Hopefully we won't see them on eBay again.

He is a car breakers though and states he has 3 in stock, could these be off breakers cars? I know that seems massively unlikely that he'd aquire those but you never know.
