A massive thank you to Artic and the T4 operator (sorry I forgot your name) for sorting the black smoke on my tourer, I drove home with a massive smile it has no smoke and its power is back in full.

I had not connected the MAP sensor plug correctly it was loose and even though I had changed the intercooler O-rings they was not seated properly. So they just put right what I had done wrong.

Yes. Duncan is a real gem and has been a stalwart of the Nano Meets, along with Artic (magician), Trebor and quite a few others. I had mine T4rd by Duncan, and the only thing that was signposted was a possible weakness with the cam sensor. Will have to get one as a spare, just in case. Don’t want to end up abroad and it gives up the ghost.Thank you again Duncan. Also got one of the brake compensators from Artic to fit to mine. Surprising how much they stretch. Hope you got my new wooden steering wheel Steve? Will be up in the week to get it and bring the old compensator back.

HI Dave
yes I have the wheel for you, drop me a PM or quick call as I am out and about this week, dentist tomorrow, tattooist Wednesday, Thursday is shopping, but the Wife will most likely be in so I could always leave it where she can pass it on to you, or I could meet you somewhere on my way out

Hi Steve. Don’t worry about it to much, you have it that’s the main thing. I am going to try and fit the brake compensator this week if I can, and I will give you a bell when I can come up. My sons coming from Germany Thursday so I want to try and get it done before he gets here. There’s no rush on my part if that’s ok with you.
