rear paneling on a tourer
How much of the interior paneling do you need to remove to fit replacement rear shocks? and is there a how to ??

It's all of it from both sides I'm afraid, another badly thought out design (if it ever was) It's a real pain in the neck for something that should have been so easy to do.
Trying to remove the side pices with the floor lifted is a real pain. You could remove the boot floor to make it easier but that's a pain. The D pillar trims, catch surround, both outer rear squabs for the rear seats need to be removed too. Russ

Haynes manual gives a good write up. Not intuitive the first time round, after that it's straightforward if fiddly. 20 minutes or so to strip the trim when you're familiar with it.
From the C pillar back the tourer appears to have been designed by a totally different company...

I am hoping that I will be able to reach the two nuts that hold the top of the shocker in place with out removing the whole trim by just pulling it away from the side......we will see
