Default 2004 Rover 75 Con SE CDTi 2.0 Auto ECU Swap

Hi all!

I purchased my first Rover 75 and it was glorious. For a day.

I started getting the dreaded EP error on my dash and after draining the plenum it didn't improve. It now doesn't start at all.

I've removed it and cleaned it as all of the guides on this forum explain and it still won't have it. Just says EP.

So, I searched high and low for an ECU kit for the car. I found one on eBay for a rather reasonable £95.

It's from an MG ZT Tourer MK2, it has the same engine and gearbox as my Rover 75 and the ECU serial NNN500340 is the same.

The kit contains...

ECU (It has the same serial number as my ECU)
A new key fob
BCU or body control unit
RF Signaller
Immobiliser

My question is, once everything is replaced, do I need to do anything else?

(I also have a seized rear caliper, the drivers side back seats are soaking, the thermostat is awaiting replacement and some bulbs need sorting. One step at a time.)
