How to replace clock bulb?
The bulb which would light the clock on the dash of my ZT CDTI isn't working. Anyone know whether it just pops off? don't want to break anything trying to force it too hard

If you look at the picture below, the dash just clips off in one piece starting from the airbag on the left hand side, it will come off complete with air vents. clock etc. so get something flat to prize it off to avoid any damage, i use a flat plastic kitchen tool to get mine off.
Sometimes a bit more difficult to clip back in place but with perseverance can be done

Is there an actual bulb in the clock? I would have guessed on SMT LEDs.

If no filament-type bulb in the clock to replace (or no other replaceable light source for that matter) then entire replacement clocks are easily available and no trouble to fit in place of the duff one.
