HOORAY!!

Not only is today my last day (of a part time post retirement fun job!) and I don’t go back until the 8th Jan!!! - BUT, today is the shortest day so from today the days all get longer again not shorter to return us to those lovely long summer days.

We now gain 2min light per day rather than lose it.

Morning, dry atm but rain forecast for the day, With a bit of luck it will start before It venture out. I’m so tired, I can’t be bothered today, bu if it stays dry, I will have to. Only going to do a handful of just bs, people I know will be in, not going to spend the evening collecting.

Mrs w44nty has gone crazy,she has just bought home Sainsburys entire stock,there is only 3 of us, and Georgie,we have enough to eat until Easter.

Its a good job we won the lottery last week.

She has just said she has forgot to get the Rolls,so we will have to make do with the Jag

My missus has just gone out shopping and she's taken every carrier bag we had in the house with her.

Good afternoon to the inmates of the LCOZ - another fraught day for me and mine today I'm afraid. After an early start (8.30am) at the shops, the day has just got worse and worse since then. By 9.00am, car parks were full, traffic was queuing all,over the place, and maniac trolley pushers were trying to mow us down. Just noticed Morrisons shop hours - they are opening at 5.30am on Monday morning !!
We're now sat waiting for a 999 ambulance, which we have been warned could be up to 2 hours away. When we arrived at my sister's this morning with her shopping, she was struggling desperately to breath, despite being hooked up to her oxygen supply. She admitted to having had an awful night - no sleep and chronic breathlessness. Like most of her generation, she "doesn't want to be a burden on anyone" so didn't ring me earlier to tell me how ill she is.
