Diesel thermostat and brake pipes.
The ZT passed its mot a few weeks ago with an advisory the NSR front to back brake pipe corroded (tester said it was a pass but wouldn't want on his car in that condition).
Car has also got a persistent weeping of coolant from around the thermostat body seal. Asked my trusted and very good garage yesterday for a quote to replace both front to back brake pipes and replace the leaky thermostat (car is also taking longer to warm up than should) They looked at both pipes and the stat, said best to re-route the NSR pipe around the tank and quoted me £370 all in which I thought was very reasonable. Going in next Thursday.

When ordering the thermostat be sure to also order the O ring to seal the metal pipe into the housing as they are prone to leaking after being attacked by the antifreeze after a few years.
