Default Bowel Cancer screening

So it's now a year since my operation and fair to say I'm feeling reflective.

Please, please if you get the pack for screening complete it and send it back.
If you notice a difference in your bowel movements or see blood please speak to you doctor.

Nothing else to say really other than the tests are there for a reason, please use them

I have for many years been on routine endoscopy because of excessive polyp appearances. Last year I had my first cancerous one and that was removed straight away. I shall continue on routine checks.

The best advice is to keep vigilant.

Absolutely. I had my Scotcap test last month, looks ok but I have an appointment for a colonoscopy in a couple of months to be on the safe side.
Keep well.

Yes chaps lets not die of ignorance.. I have regular endscopathy. Our family as history. My father died from it. My brother as had a lot of bowl removed and a stoma fitted. Im under revision.

Better to start early with tests than finish early with life.....

Just another note to add. Many many years ago, as a result of a general examination, a slight bump was found on my prostate gland.

After 25 years of routine monitoring it was found to have grown to the point where surgery was indicated. Duly undertaken and I have been clear now for many years.

Again be vigilant
