Default Getrag 283 rebuild

This may possibly be the wrong place for this posting, but FYI.......
If you're contemplating a rebuild of your gearbox, try this link https://youtu.be/fB0BpZ6Go3I
Its for the F23 gearbox, very similar in design & pretty much all you need to show you the true complexity of a full rebuild. The pullers & special tools can be worked around, but make things alot more easy.
Be careful when parting the casings, again its not easy, & if you start to force things, the casing can crack !

Thanks for your guidance; though posted a long time ago nits still on the web! I dont think I will need all the tools etc they show as I need to sort out one good box from one that has engagement problems with 3rd gear and another that has problems with 2nd! Fingers crossed! watch this space!
